All roads lead to City Primary School, Wetheral Road, Owerri Imo State on Sunday 15th December,2024 as Ebonyi State indigenes based in Imo State will honour Owerri Area Commander, Nigeria Police Force,ACP Michael Abattam,the President of Imo State Council of Town Unions President-Generals,Hon. Kingsley Chigozie Omuruka, member representing Orlu State Constituency in the State House of Assembly,Hon. Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo and two successful businessmen,Dr. John Uzoegbu and Vitalis Okwudili Umunnakwe.
This formed major part of the lined-up packages earlier streamlined for 2024 edition of get-together of Ebonyians residing in the eastern heartland.
It would be recalled that the current leadership of Ebonyi State Union,Imo State Branch under the chairmanship of Chief Solomon Nwafor had earlier doled out millions of naira interest-free loan to better the lives of Ebonyi people.
Meanwhile, the event will feature cultural dance and educative programmes that would form part of one’s new year resolution.
However, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma,top government functionaries and captains of industries are expected to grace the occasion.
Members of the Planning Committee include;Chief Okwudili Kopurum(Chairman),Chief Stephen Nwakpa(Secretary), Comrade Kelechi Ugo(Member),Mr Nkama Williams(Member),Mrs Nnenna Ojilere(Member).
