There was an atmosphere of jubilation on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, amongst members of Holy Ghost Evangelical Church, HOGECC, Irete, Owerri West LGA of Imo State, at the church auditorium upon the announcement of the victorious emergence of their youth member, Master Osagie Harry Onyedikachi, as the 15th President of the Press Club of Government Secondary School Owerri, GSSO.
The Pressman Newspaper Correspondent, who was at HOGECC for the church service, joined Master Osagie Harry at HOGECC on Sunday and witnessed the level of excitement and jubilation among Harry’s church worshippers when the announcement of his Press Club Presidency was declared.
This news follows the invitation letter to the church by the President of GSSO Press Club, Onyedikachi, who officially invited his church members to the occasion of his Installation Ceremony as the 15th School Club President and the Inauguration of the 2023/2024 Board of Directors and Launching of their 2023/2024 Project.

The invitation news letter was duly signed by the President of GSSO Press Club, Master Onyedikachi Harry Osagie.
Meanwhile, the Pastor of HOGECC, Dr. Emmanuel MacBenedict, expressed satisfaction with the leadership elevation achieved by young Master Onyedikachi Harry Osagie as the 15th President of GSSO Press Club Owerri, Imo State, describing it as a welcome development. He enjoined President Harry to govern with the fear of God and with good leadership styles as a child of God.
The clergyman congratulated President Onyedikachi, a HOGECC youth member, and charged him to deliver on the positive mandates of GSSO Press Club, emphasizing the importance of leading by good examples and showing others the greatness and experiences from God.
Adding his voice, an Elder at HOGECC, Bro. Innocent Essiet, congratulated President Osagie for his emergence and encouraged him to live up to positive expectations.
In the same vein, Hon. Deacon Daniel Opara (Danjay), the Editor-in-Chief of ThePressman Newspaper Owerri and a member of HOGECC, expressed satisfaction with President Osagie’s leadership elevation.
Publisher Danjay encouraged Osagie to live up to greater expectations in his position as the President of GSSO Press Club Owerri and prayed for wisdom and understanding for him to pilot the affairs of the club effectively.
