The Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District in the Senate otherwise called Orlu Zone, Disappointed Osita Izunaso has felicitated with Nigerians on Democracy Day celebration.
Senator Izunaso described Nigeria as an indivisible entity urging all the ethnic groups hands together to build a better country our children tomorrow.
He expressed confidence that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria recalling the event that led to shifting Nigeria Democracy Day celebration from May 29th to June 12th every year.
According to him,”the shifting was aimed at commemorating the anullment of June 12,1993 presidential election which involved M.K. Abiola of SDP and Alhaji Tofa of NRC as Presidential Candidates”.
He encouraged everyone including his Orlu people to continue keep faith that Nigeria will one day become the best country in the world.
The Federal lawmaker advised youths to embrace peace as it is the only way to record meaningful development assuring Orlu youths of his constant involvement in matters that will positively benefit them.
