The All Progressive Congress , Imo state woman Leader and apex Leader of APC Umunna Ward , Orlu LGA Hon chief Mrs Ifeoma Ndukwu has lauded Imo state governor, distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma CON ( Onwa Oyoko) for appointing one of their own , Hon. Godson Dibe Special Adviser on Empowerments Imo state.
Chief Mrs Ifeoma Ndukwu who received in audience the Special Adviser, Hon Godson Dibe in her office Thursday 17th.July 2024 at Okigwe Road APC state Secretariat Owerri said governor Uzodinma has once again chosen a round Peg for a round hole. She described the Dibe’s and family as passionate Philanthropists with no boundary adding that Orlu people have God’s wisdom and human grace to uplift others.
Speaking with Journalists after a closed door discussions with other party faithful , the Special Adviser said he came to dialogue with Imo APC woman Leader on their planned Ward meeting soon and to intimate her his blue prints .
Hon Dibe who was visibly happy with the reception at the Party secretariate expressed his readiness to work in concert with the philosophy and vision of the shared Prosperity government of distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma in the state. He said Empowerments is the Hallmark of good leadership is examplified by numerous acts of Empowerments by the leader of APC in the state and South East, a man whose passion is for all . When any leader is blessed , he should bless others especially those who are less Privileged. Hon.Dibe who hails from same ward with the Imo APC woman Leader said his excitements are that members of APC in Umuna ward are strongly in one accord as he promised to ensure more support for members to continue to support the government of distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma . He noted with satisfaction positive innovations in governance being unveiled by our governor, .In his words ,” the forth coming Local govt elections should be used to show appreciations to Shared Prosperity government . ” A govt that is all inclusive , has initiated the dredging of Orashi River to Altalantic Oceans, attracting the Afrism Bank and going back to Drawing Board to realize the Imo Central Market , Owerri, and the Govt House Annex , Eziachi Orlu , to me deserves Commendations.
In my position as Special Adviser on Empowerments , my foundation Which was established in memory of my late Father Iyi of Umuna would liase with our foreign partners to empower deserving Imolites. It’s going to be all inclusive.
Hon. Dibe said he will be in touch with his ward Chairman , the Ochinananwata and other leaders to shore up more support for 3R Empowerment program beyond wards, local government and the state. He appealed for collaborations and support to achieve success.
One of the youngest politicians in his ward Mr Chinemere Nwadike was spotted saying that Umuna ward is a strong base in Orlu APC with Benjamin Duru, as chairman ,Chidinma Korie as youth leader while their woman Leader is mrs Agbaka.
