A frontline contestant of Orlu Local Government Chairmanship position in the forthcoming Imo State Council polls,Hon. Henry Ikenna Egwuatu popularly called Ozuome has congratulated Prof. Mrs. Edna Njoku of Federal University of Technology,Owerri,FUTO on her new appointment as the Governing Council Chairman of the National Mathematical Centre, Sheda,Kwali,Federal Capital Territory.
Hon. Egwuatu who is jostling to occupy the number one seat of the most popular LGA in Imo State come September 21st,2024 thanked the President and Commander -in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency,Bola Ahmed Tinubu for looked inward and select a woman of substance,Prof. Edna Njoku to occupy such exotic position.
He expressed optimism that Prof. Njoku will use her wealth of experiences to enhance total transformation of the National Mathematical Centre.
The Chairmanship hopeful seized the opportunity to commend the Executive Governor of Imo State,His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for facilitating the appointment of the University don praying God to continue protecting the Governor and the newly appointed Governing Council Chairman.
Recall that Prof. Edna -Mathews Njoku is a former Imo State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Agriculture,and former Deputy Chief of Staff,Imo State Government House and an indigene of Ikeduru LGA of Imo State.
