Father of a missing IPOB member accuses security agency of son disappearance

by admin

An elderly man, Elder Osuoke CN, is languishing in agony of deep loss over the unfortunate disappearing of his son, Ikonne Chibuihe
Collins, who has been missing for more than four years.

The man said that his son, who is a top member of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), disappeared after an attack by military joint task force stormed the Aba residence of Mr. Chibuihe Ikonne Collins on January 2020, on a tip off that IPOB members were holding a meeting to deliberate on a proposed peaceful rally to push for the referendum for the freedom of the people of Biafra.

Elder Osuoke said that since the disappearance of his son, who took care of his medication and feeding, he has become a ghost of himself, beaten by hunger and sickness. He urged the Nigeria government and the military to tell him what they have done with his son.

According to him, Ikonne Chibuihe Collins was peaceful and lover of his people who committed no crime other than to clamour for referendum and freedom of Biafra.
