President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has publicly apologised to Senator Adams Oshiomhole over his “unsenatorial” remark during a recent Senate session, saying there is no rift between the two lawmakers and that their relationship remains strong.
Akpabio explained that his comment was made in the heat of parliamentary proceedings and was never intended to demean or disrespect his colleague. He acknowledged that the choice of words may have been misunderstood and expressed regret for any offence the remark may have caused.
