In a strong display of political solidarity and support for party unity, the leadership of the Owerri Municipal Legislative Council has paid a courtesy visit to the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim.
The delegation, led by the Council Leader, Rt. Hon. Soronnadi Justice Chijioke, said the visit was aimed at strengthening the relationship between elected representatives at the grassroots and the leadership of the party in the state.
During the meeting, Soronnadi Justice praised Ibezim for his dedication to the growth and stability of the APC, describing him as an “Icon of Hope and a Pillar of Loyalty.”
The Council Leader said the visit was not simply a ceremonial engagement but a clear demonstration of the council’s confidence in the party leadership and its desire to work with relevant stakeholders for the good of the people.

Soronnadi Justice restated the council’s support for the leadership of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, whom he recognised as the leader of the APC in Imo State.
He commended the state government’s efforts at providing political direction and called for sustained cooperation among elected officials, party leaders and grassroots stakeholders.
The Council Leader noted that political stability and effective governance require unity of purpose, constant communication and a shared commitment to the welfare of the people.

The Owerri Municipal Legislative Council also restated its loyalty to the leadership of the APC State Chairman, Hon. Austin Onyedebelu.
