Hardship Alleviation: Arodiogbu Eulogizes Uzodimma For Attracting 1.5b Dollars Grant to Imo State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman of South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for attracting conditional 1.5b Dollars Grant to develop Imo State, as well as ameliorate economic hardship among indigent citizens of the state.

He stated that the Governor is richly committed to improve living standard of the people little wonder he used his intimate relationship with President Armad Bola Tinubu and the Federal Government to secure the conditional grant from the African Export – Import Bank (AfrexiBank).

Arodiogbu explained that over twenty thousand indigent Imo citizens will get fifty thousand naira each from the grant to cushion the raging economic hardship as targeted by the Federal Government which he added is going to be implemented by Imo State Government.

In a chat with our reporter on Monday, Arodiogbu hinted that the feat by Uzodimma is a milestone which he believed would help indigent citizens assuage the current hardship as well as enhance infrastructure, commerce and industry therein.

The APC National Vice Chairman of South East, remarked that “the grant would also facilitate social development in the state”, describing President Armad Bola Tinugu and Governor Hope Uzodimma as good leaders who he affirmed are always poised to develop the country, sustain peace, security, meet welfare and wellbeing of citizens.

“I commend Governor Hope Uzodimma for attracting the 1.5billion dollars grant to Imo State with the help of the Federal Government. This feat is a milestone which will go a long way to assisting poor Imolites to ameliorating the current economic hardship in the country. The fund will also facilitate development in the state. Indeed, the Shared Prosperity Administration has achieved so much for Imo State, hence I call on all well meaning citizens to continue to lend credence to the government as it edifies the state socially, economically and educationally via the 3R Mantra of Rehabilitation Reconstruction and Recovery”, Arodiogbu emphasized.
