It is with great joy that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Eminent Ambassador Anselem Anokwute on his recent appointment as a Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), a subsidiary of the United Nations Organization. This honor was bestowed upon him on the 31st of July 2024 at Rock View Hotel, Owerri, Imo State.
Ambassador Anselem, a distinguished son of Okwudor, was recognized by the IAWPA for his exceptional dedication to global peace. This accolade is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the restoration of human dignity through diligent efforts and advocacy for peace.
I commend his aspirations and hope they serve as an inspiration to our youth, who will be the leaders of tomorrow. As the saying goes, “to whom much is given, much is expected.” I urge him to view this appointment as a call to further serve our society. I pray that God grants him the grace and strength to excel in his endeavors.
It is essential to remember that charity begins at home. Ambassador Anselem is deeply rooted in our community, and we encourage him to make Okwudor Ebenasato (Okwudor Ancient Kingdom & Ihebinaowerre) his focal point in this significant mission. Together, we can achieve more; alone, one can run faster, but with the support of the community, one can go further. Let us embody the spirit of “Onye-aghala Nwanne ya” (let no one leave their brother behind).
In the same spirit, I extend my warm felicitations to the entire Okwudor Ebenasato community as we step into the new month of August. It is not by our might but by the special grace of God Almighty that we are graciously progressing towards the Ember months. We shall see the end of 2024, and 2024 shall not see our end.
Our beloved country Nigeria is experiencing challenging times. We live in uncertainty and fear due to nationwide protests caused by hardship and hunger. My fervent prayer is for the safety of our people wherever they may be. None of our sons and daughters should become sacrificial lambs for any cause. You are our pride, and we eagerly await your safe return in good health.
In conclusion, I appeal to all of us to support our industrious son, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe), in his bid to become the next Executive Chairman of Njaba L.G.A. Let us, both at home and abroad, rally behind him and offer our unwavering support for a better Njaba. Your vote counts.
